Jo Pearson Training – Course Terms & Conditions

Booking and Payment

A non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required to secure your place on any course.
The booking fee will be deducted from the total course cost.
Full payment for the course must be received no later than 7 days prior to the course start date.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in your place being offered to another student.
Course fees are non-refundable unless the course is cancelled by Jo Pearson Training.

The £50 booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
If a student wishes to cancel their course more than 14 days before the course date, any balance paid (excluding the booking fee) may be transferred to another course date at the discretion of Jo Pearson Training.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the course date are non-refundable.
Students who fail to attend a course without prior notice will forfeit all monies paid.
In exceptional circumstances, course transfers may be considered at the discretion of Jo Pearson Training.
Jo Pearson Training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances. In this event, students will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of any monies paid.

Students must arrive on time for all training sessions.
Late arrival may result in missed training and assessment opportunities.
Jo Pearson Training reserves the right to refuse entry to students who arrive excessively late.

Some courses may require students to provide their own models for practical training and assessments.
All 1-to-1 training courses require the student to provide a suitable model unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Students will be informed before the course if a model is required.
Models must be suitable for the treatment being demonstrated and must arrive on time.
If a student fails to provide a required model, practical training may be limited, rescheduled, or certification delayed.

For courses involving lash lifting, lash tinting, brow tinting, eyebrow treatments, eyelash treatments, or any treatment requiring a patch test, students must ensure their model has received a skin test in accordance with industry guidelines.
Skin testing should be carried out at least 24–48 hours prior to treatment unless otherwise advised by the manufacturer.
Students are responsible for checking all contraindications and ensuring their model is suitable for treatment.
Training cannot proceed if a model presents with contraindications that make treatment unsafe.
Jo Pearson Training accepts no responsibility where treatment cannot be completed due to contraindications or the absence of a required skin test.

Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards trainers, fellow students, and models at all times.
Bullying, abusive language, disruptive behaviour, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
Jo Pearson Training reserves the right to remove any student whose behaviour is deemed unacceptable, without refund.

Students should wear suitable professional attire for practical training.
Long hair should be tied back, and good personal hygiene standards must be maintained.

Students must follow all health and safety instructions provided by the trainer.
Work areas must be kept clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times.
Equipment and products must be used as instructed.
Any accidents, injuries, or spillages must be reported immediately to the trainer.
Students are responsible for respecting the training venue and its facilities.

Certificates will only be issued upon successful completion of all course requirements, practical assessments, and any required case studies or coursework.
Students must demonstrate competence in the treatments being taught before certification can be awarded.
